Drawing by Leonardo da Vinci «The bones and muscles of the leg (recto)». The work was created during the author's study of human anatomy in the winter of 1510-1511 in Milan. In the drawing, Leonardo da Vinci depicted the distal fragment of the ligamentum capitis femoris (LCF). See also the monograph 2013ClaytonM_PhiloR.
