Medicine in the Bible. 14.05.2026

I present my new book: 50 Tables of Evidence for the Composition of Genesis in Late Second Intermediate Period Egypt: The Protograph Before the Oral Tradition. Joensuu: Author's Edition, 2026. ASIN: B0GXWTLSLK

After reviewing the history of hip dislocation research, I discovered a remarkably accurate description of its pathomorphology in Genesis 32. Analysis of this passage served as the key to an interdisciplinary revising the chronological framework of the entire narrative. The study's result was the dating of the book to the late 17th to early 16th century BCE. The hypothesis is based on textual criticism, history, archaeology, and an analysis of the level of medical knowledge in the Bronze Age. The reader is invited to evaluate the validity of the conclusions using the comparative tables provided in the work.

This monograph continues a series of books reflecting the results of the author's research at the intersection of medicine and the Bible:

50 TABLES OF EVIDENCE

Ancient Egypt is the birthplace of the Book of Genesis Arkhipov S.V. 50 Tables of Evidence for the Composition of Genesis in Late Second Intermediate Period Egypt: The Protograph Before the Oral Tradition. Joensuu : Author's Edition, 2026. GGKEY: ZPYTRNR69CB  https://play.google.com/store/books/details?id=Dw7PEQAAQBAJ http://books.google.com/books/about?id=Dw7PEQAAQBAJ ASIN: B0GXWTLSLK https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GXWTLSLK Synopsis This monograph presents a fundamental revision of the dating and origin of the Book of Genesis , challenging the dominant hypothesis, which dates the text to the mid-first millennium BCE. Through a systematic analysis presented in 50 comparative tables, the author argues that the protograph of Genesis was a deliberate literary compilation created in Egypt during the late Second Intermediate Period (ca. 17th–16th centuries BCE), shortly after the Minoan eruption. The core of the research concerns the non-oral origin of the text. By ident...

Dating and authorship of the Book of Genesis

An original perspective on the dating and authorship of the Book of Genesis. This approach can reconcile all faiths, including atheists and scientists. English version of the article: https://roundligament.blogspot.com/2026/02/great-compilation-introduction.html   Abstract The Book of Genesis (Bereshith) was composed in Egypt during the 17th century BCE and reached its definitive protographic form following the Minoan eruption of Thera. This study argues that the work was the result of a collaboration between an Egyptian polymath and a distinguished scribe of Asiatic descent. By analyzing ancient texts, anatomical descriptions, archaeological data, Bronze Age cultural history, and climatic markers, this article demonstrates that the book emerged from the work of a high-ranking socio-political committee within the Egyptian House of Life. We argue that the inclusion of precise anatomical data, such as the ligamentum capitis femoris, serves as a diagnostic marker of this Egypti...

Great Compilation

There is an opinion: Arkhipov S.V. The Book of Bereshit as a Great Compilation of Texts and Meanings from the Second Intermediate Period of Egypt . February 16, 2026. [in Russian] Hypothesis: The Book of Bereshit (Genesis) was composed in Egypt during the 17th century BCE and reached its definitive protographic form following the Minoan eruption. The work was carried out by an Egyptian physician-encyclopedist and an outstanding scribe of Asian origin. Introduction : https://kruglayasvyazka.blogspot.com/2026/02/blog-post.html + 50 parts Conclusion: In the book “Bereshit” we have identified numerous literary parallels, cosmogonic similarities, ethical correspondences, lexical and cultural borrowings, various inversions, as well as plot convergences with ancient Egyptian and Mesopotamian texts. Based on the conducted analysis and taking into account archaeological and historical data, we believe that the book “Bereshit” is a high-level compilation. The scale of the work a...

Paradox. The necessary is needed by no one

Post in a community for patients after arthroplasty.                                                                                                          A question for the patient community from an implant designer (if the Admin allows it). Hello everyone, I have a question regarding Total Hip Replacement (THR). As many of you know, dislocations remain a serious risk after surgery. This often happens because a prosthesis lacks the natural ligament that stabilizes a healthy joint. I have developed an experimental prosthesis designed for significantly higher stability. This anti-dislocation effect is achieved by creating an "internal ligament" within the construct. Theoretically, this would allow patients to bring th...

A Novel Technique for Proximal Fixation

Arkhipov SV. A Novel Technique for Proximal Fixation of Ligamentum Capitis Femoris Reconstruction: The Gifts of the Magi for Orthopedic Surgeons. About Round Ligament of Femur. January 14, 2026. DOI: 10.13140/RG.2.2.25269.33763 https://roundligament.blogspot.com/2026/01/the-gifts-of-magi-for-orthopedic.html Abstract Purpose: To describe an experimental technique for proximal fixation in ligamentum capitis femoris (ligamentum teres femoris; LCF) reconstruction using pubic and ischial portions anchored in corresponding pelvic bone tunnels, tested on synthetic hip joint models, and to propose it’s for arthroscopic application with visualization via an inferior portal and femoral tunnel. Methods: Synthetic polyurethane bone analogs (Synbone) of the pelvis and proximal femur were used to fabricate hip joint models. Acetabular cartilage analogs were created from self-curing plastic compound. Femoral tunnels were drilled along the neck axis from the subtrochanteric region below the tub...

Arkhipov SV. Improving Postoperative Comfort

Arkhipov SV. Improving Postoperative Comfort and Increasing the Reliability of Hip Prostheses by Supplementing with Artificial Ligaments: Proof of Concept and Prototype Demonstration. DOI: 10.13140/RG.2.2.15175.15524 The author invites laboratories and companies to collaborate on the development of prostheses with artificial ligaments. Updated version of the article: https://roundligament.blogspot.com/2025/12/improving-postoperative-comfort.html   Abstract . The principle of operation of an experimental total hip endoprosthesis augmented with ligament analogs has been demonstrated in single-leg vertical stances and at the mid-stance phase of the single-support period of gait. The experiments were conducted on a specially designed mechatronic testing rig. The concept of the important role of the ligamentous apparatus is further illustrated by a set of demonstrative mechanical models. The data obtained from the experiments enabled the development of a prototype total h...

Edwin Smith Papyrus vis-à-vis Book of Genesis

A correspondence has been found between the level of medical knowledge in the Edwin Smith Papyrus and the Book of Genesis. Were both works written during the same historical period? What do medical historians and Egyptologists think about this?  Based on the analysis I conducted, I believe that the protograph of the Book of Genesis was written at the end of the Second Intermediate Period in Egypt, with the collaboration of an Asian diviner and an Egyptian physician. Arguments in more detail are presented in my online article: Архипов С . В . Кто и когда впервые описал повреждение ligamentum capitis femoris ? (WHO FIRST DESCRIBED THE LIGAMENTUM CAPITIS FEMORIS INJURY AND WHEN? This article is available in Russian, and translation to your desired language can be done using a browser plugin).
