Quote p. 307

Ligament inter-articulaire, ligament intérieur, (ligament rond desauteurs).

Human Children. Retelling of Chapter 18

Short retelling of chapter 18 of the essay: Arkhipov S.V. Human Children: The Origins of Biblical Legends from a Physician's Perspective. Joensuu: Author's Edition, 2025. [In Russian]  Chapter 18. THE MINISTRY OF JESUS   The accounts of Jesus’ ministry, as recorded by the Gospel writers, offer varying timelines marked by the Jewish Passover. Matthew and Mark mention one Passover, Luke references two, and John notes three instances of the festival’s approach. Based on these milestones, Jesus’ ministry—his bearing of the “cross”—likely spanned one to three years across Galilee (Upper Galilee, 32°59'10"N, 35°20'13"E; Lower Galilee, 32°46'59"N, 35°19'48"E) and Judea (31°35'N, 35°E). Isaac Newton (1642–1727) calculated Jesus’ death as occurring between 33 and 34 CE, with modern scholars pinpointing April 3, 33 CE, as the date of his crucifixion, marking the end of the Galilean Physician’s earthly journey. Thus, the period from 29 to 33 CE ...

1886PanschA

Fragments from the book Pansch A. Grundriss der Anatomie des Menschen (1886). The author believes that the ligamentum capitis femoris (LCF) is a synovial process and briefly writes about its anatomy and function. The text is prepared for machine translation using a service built into the blog from Google or your web browser. In some cases, we have added links to quotations about LCF available on our resource, as well as to publications posted on the Internet. Fig. 191. Hüftge...

1687BlancardS

Fragment from the book Blancard S. Anatomia reformata (1687). The author writes about the attachment and function of the ligamentum capitis femoris (LCF). Quote p. 263 [Lat] Appendices habet superius inferiusque insignes, processibus suisjunctas. Supcrior appendix cum adjuncto processus, amplum, globosumque femoris caput constituit, valida cervice subnixum, quod intra cavitatem ossis ischii, ilium, & pubis concursi productam, (acetabulum alias, pyxidemque) reconditur. Detinctur in hoc sinu robustis ligamentis: lato uno, & membranoso, quod articulum totum circumdat, tum rotundo altero, & tereti, quod ab ipsa cavitate productum, statim in caput susceptum demittitur. Translation [Eng] Above and below, there are remarkable appendages connected with processes.
