263. Ligamentum capitis femoris. The Committee felt fully justified in giving up the use of the term "Ligamentum teres femoris", as it is always a flattened band. [PNA, 1955] Strictly, the term should read Lig. capitis ossis femoris, following the proposal to change Femur to Os femoris. [NA4, 1977]
